UCSA Mid Autumn Festival ‘09

2 days ago , the UNITAR Chinese Student Association successfully organized our annual mooncake festival event celebration , this year with the theme :

COME ALONG IN MID AUTUMN ; 中秋月缘。团聚

first off , I would like the to take this oppurtunity to thank all my comrades-in-arms for working together towards achieving success of this event . I think this is most crucial for the continued survival and existence of our club in the university …

took a lot of pictures that day , and I do mean A LOT !!! special thanks to our photographer from MPM , Sdr Hashimi Anwar and Mr Azmi for doing such a great job . These photos provided us with an everlasting memoir of our struggles and thus solidified our unity as a club . THANK YOU guys …

uhh , what can I say , only that everybody had loads of fun during this event , we proved something to all those who didnt believe in us , our seniors are impressed and had immense enjoyment , we all grew from this experience , and our bonds are closer than ever .

to UCSA , it was an honor serving you as MC for the night , I do hope we get the chance to do this again . You can be sure I’ll be 1st to help .

Asathal Junior’s Night 2009

went to this most meaningful and important event yesterday night …

this event , is something like the annual concert by the indian society in our university , which is jointly organized by the high committee members of Persatuan Mahasiswa UNITAR and also juniors from the university’s new annual intakes .

unfortunately , I couldn’t take any decent pictures because the hall in which it was organized was dark , nevertheless , of all the University’s events , I had never been to one as lively as Asathal Juniors Night .

It is something like this that would take the university to soar in greater heights , achieve more prestigious recognitions and so forth …

I was there as representatives of the UCSA , which is the chinese association of UNITAR, and the welcoming commitee of that night (thank you guys) , really treated us like true VIP’s , pinning rossettes to the Jippas(indian traditional costume) of myself and my good brother Kim Seng ..hahaha…

well , it was nice while it lasted , and I am honored for being a part of it ..keep it up guys …best of luck ..

RRSS Convocation 2009

attended the Riam Road Secondary School Convocation/ Graduation cum Prize Giving Ceremony at EastWood Valley this afternoon…

and I must say , I am impressed .

The Convo was exactly like any other Universities’ Convo ceremonies ….

the guests of honor entered the hall followed by the national flag , and the Master of the Book of Knowledge , which sybolizes the schools undying thirst to pursue knowledge , and after that , followed by the entrance of the scholars or students …

the atmosphere was nice , dimly-lit lights , cool airconditioning , fresh air , and the green pasteur outside makes for the perfect afternoon for such an event …

*psst , the receptionists miskatenly took me as a parent (do I look that old ?) and they took the liberty to pin a rosette to my shirt ..it felt weird ..hahaha…

anyway , speeches follow speeches , and then comes the award presentation …i saw quite a few familiar faces there…

and last but definitely not least , FREEEEE FOOD !!!! they prepared a buffet afternoon tea for all guests , and my friends and I took it upon ourselves to eat and eat …to save on dinner ..hahaha…the tuna and ham sandwiches were superb..credits to the chefs of Eastwood …

learnt quite a lot of valuable stuff during the afternoon there , from speeches by reknown businessmen in the small city of Miri …

i wonder what MY convocation would look like in PWCC in say …erm…2 and a half years ? lols…work towards it friends…

lastly , my congratulations to my cousin for being such a wonderful MC , and also to the graduates for finally having completed high school and embarking on your second educational journey

Well ,

pretty much spent all my time getting the registration for my degree done , for the past 2 days that is ….

Thank God it is finally done ,and we are able to start our academic year now …

I must say , although it was troublesome , the registration couldn’t have been done without the help of some really really responsible UNITAR staff , unlike the ones who got us into this mess in the first place …

so , thanks to those in ACAD , and FBA who helped us settle this….

haha…

other than that , life is pretty much as it always has been .,…that be BORINGGGGG !!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111

on another note :

Happy Belated 17th Birthday to Piggy Ling …my cousin …
